This English sampler created and completed by Ann Fowles on February 28th, in 1825 and was discovered and purchased in 2022 in an antique store by the current owners

The two piece ensemble had extensive damage due to infestation and poor storage conditions. A complete relining of the undress panels was needed to allow the garment to be stabile and properly supported for installation into the gallery.
